Remembering… Luigi Alberti

03/09/2026

In the midst of this scorching summer, the woodworking technology industry has lost what can rightly be described as one of its founding fathers. On 11 August, following the sudden worsening of a long-standing chronic illness, Luigi Alberti passed away.

For friends and colleagues wishing to remember him, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, 5 September at 10.30 a.m. at the parish church of Sant’Andrea Apostolo, in Piazza Manzoni, Carugate.

In the photo, Luigi Alberti, right, with Acimall president Ambrogio Delachi on the occasion of the presentation of the “Benemerito di Acimall” award, conferred on Alberti in 2005.
